What information do we collect about you?
The Sedgley Local History Society website collects no information about individuals directly, as the site contains no registration forms, however if you have contacted the society via post, or email, those communications will have been filed for future reference. The information contained in those communications will vary depending on the nature of the enquiry and the contact mechanisms appropriate to that request (e.g. SLHS would not normally retain non-members postal addresses unless physical material was being exchanged).
How will we use any personal information we have
Sedgley Local History Society will NOT pass on your details to external agencies, commercial or voluntary organisations, and only to third parties (e.g. another individual who could help with a query) with your consent. We will use your details to administer your SLHS membership as appropriate and to send details of meetings and society business.
If you wish to change your contact details please email SLHS Contact Details for more information.
Access to information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of the personal information you think SLHS may hold, please email SLHS Data Request. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
