That's Entertainment – Stage, Screen and Radio
The next meeting of the Society takes place on Thursday 13th January 2011 at 7:30 pm in St. Andrew’s Church, Bilston Street, Sedgley.
Members and visitors are invited to come along and share their memories of entertainment offered to Black Country audiences in theatres, cinemas and at home on radio and television. Everyone is invited to bring along artefacts, photographs, posters and memorabilia or just tell stories about favourite artists, films and programmes.
These open evenings usually turn up rarely seen items from family collections as well as providing a chance to hear colourful tales with a Black Country flavour.
Start the New Year by sharing your memories and ‘treasures’ at this friendly gathering and help to recall live performances, magic moments at the pictures, and the coming of wireless and TV.
As usual visitors are invited to come along – cost £1.
