The next meeting of SLHS will take place on Thursday 12th February at 7:45 pm at St. Andrew's Church, Bilston Street, Sedgley.

Society member, Jennifer Hill, will be taking a trip around the Manor through a slide presentation of churches, chapels and pubs. Religious houses and public houses seem to exist side by side throughout the nine villages establishing a link well known to rural communities. It’s worth remembering that attending worship was once compulsory, but going for a drink was always optional.

Spend an evening visiting places built for spiritual worship and those built for the consumption of spirits!
